DIG MAG Launch Events
As the PR and Promotions Manager for DIG MAG, my role was to elevate brand awareness through strategic promotional efforts, including organizing seasonal launch events to engage our audience and enhance visibility.
I worked with campus publications for nearly three years, starting as a PR and Promotions Intern and advancing to PR and Promotions Manager, where I led a team of interns to design and execute innovative promotional strategies. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in event planning, social media, digital and traditional marketing, and audience engagement—skills that directly translated into measurable growth for our publications.
Each issue launched with a unique theme, and my goal was to bring those themes to life through immersive events. We created Instagram-worthy experiences to encourage user-generated content, offered interactive activities like Tarot readings and crocheting, and built experiences that inspired students and faculty to connect more deeply with our work.
Understanding the power of giveaways and shareable moments, I introduced limited-time merchandise drops and curated a Little Free Library to expand reach and encourage brand discovery. These initiatives not only boosted event attendance but also helped extend our visibility beyond campus events.
Over three years, I generated 10K+ impressions among students and faculty and helped increase overall brand awareness by nearly 25%. By collaborating with our data and analytics expert, I was able to identify key marketing trends and adapt campaigns in real time, ensuring our strategies remained fresh and effective.
This role sharpened my ability to balance creativity with strategy, manage teams, and deliver results-driven campaigns that left a lasting impact on our publications’ presence and reputation.
